Question by Ino: How can I use burst mode on my camera without holding down the image-capture button?
I have a Sony Cybershot with both burst and multi-burst modes. is there any way that i might be able to take multiple pictures at once without just holding down the image capture button? for example, if i wanted to take a picture of myself or a group of people with the designated camera-person included in multiple pictures at once?

Best answer:

Answer by selina_555
Higher end cameras have optional external shutter releases, but since you didn’t give a model number, I couldn’t check if yours might have that option.

If you use a tripod and the timer, you can at least get ONE photo at a time with everyone in it.

Question by JJ: business?!?
well am thinking about starting my on business any ideas on how i can get started and wat should my business be

Best answer:

Answer by ASBC
you’ve got it back to front. First you look for a niche in the market that needs to be addressed or you note a shortage of demand. If you are not addressing these keep your money in your pocket.
Business opportunities come from hobbies expanded, new technology (e.g. become the Blue Ray expert), niche markets e.g. something a cultural group wants or needs, changes in law create opportunities for experts to emerge, changes in demographics e,g, more children in the area.

Look around. Ask people around you.

How to start will depend on the idea – some businesses start part time until they get enough customers to move on – some start as web based businesses and others just have to bite the bullet and go bigtime. Whatever you do please do a business plan before you start – work out the details on profitability, time needed to make it work etc before you commit any money to the idea.
Need a great business plan format try. http://www.australiansmallbusiness.com.au/Easy-Business-Plan-Pack-p-16143.html

A few nice butter images I found:

Trio of Butter

Chipotle, blue cheese and roasted garlic butters.

Breads and Butters

(Rollover)
Warm bread served with three butters:
1. Herb butter
2. Guava butter
3. Smoked Salmon (From Durham’s Tracklement next door)

Notes: The smoked salmon was good, but a tad on the "fishy" side. The herbs weren’t that discernable. The guava was like honey-butter… yum – by far my favorite.

frederic fekkai hair mask with shea butter

bluebear837 aka Patrick Cheung sold "Frederic Fekkai" Hair mask with shea butter. His ad here said:
cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=004&ssp…

>>Hair Mask with Shea Butter
>>A rich, creamy hair treatment mask ideal for ultra-dry, thick or unruly hair (virgin or >>color treated). This intensive, treatment hydrates and repairs the hair with shea >>butter and macadamia nut oils.
>>This bottle is 2 oz. Get this fabulous product at a fraction of the retail price. This is a >>NO RESERVE auction. The picture is for reference ONLY. This auction does not >>come with the box or bottle. It comes packaged in a different bottle. THIS PRODUCT >>IS AUTHENTIC, I DO NOT SELL FAKE,OR IMITATIONS. CHECK OUT MY OTHER >>FABULOUS AUCTIONS TO SEE FOR YOURSELF. Serious bidders only. The >>winning bidder assumes all shipping and handling charges. Please ask all >>questions before bidding. This auction is being sold as is, no refunds. Thanks for >>looking and check out my store for more great deals.

His eBay product picture showed the product on the right only but in the larger, 5oz size.

I interpreted his ad to mean than instead of the 6oz tube, I’d be getting a different size.
Lots of eBay sellers show photos of another sized item than the one they are selling, because they get the photo from the manufacturer’s site.

I did not understand that he would be REMOVING the product from the other container, and REPACKAGING it into his own package. This package, on the left, has no label at all.

I have no idea if what he put it in is safe, or the real thing.

According to FDA rules this is not okay:
www.fda.gov/fdac/features/1998/398_cosm.html

>>But some regulations do apply to cosmetics. In addition to the FD&C Act, the Fair >>Packaging and Labeling Act requires an ingredient declaration on every cosmetic >>product offered for sale to consumers. In addition, these regulations require that >>ingredients be listed in descending order of quantity. Water, for example, accounts >>for the bulk of most skin-care products, which is why it usually appears first on these >>products.

>>Although companies are not required to substantiate performance claims or conduct >>safety testing, if safety has not been substantiated, the product’s label must read >>"WARNING: The safety of this product has not been determined."

The second problem is that Frederick Fekkai probably has no idea that it’s products are being sold in repackaged bottles.

I’ve notified Ebay, the FDA and Frederick Fekkai about this problem.

The seller, Patrick Cheung has sold at least 4 other bottles of this same item.

I also left negative feedback on his profile here:
feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&useri…
"HiddenScam:no-fekkai pkg.Actual Ship.67,Chrgd: .00, would not comb shippng."

And you can see here that he retaliated by leaving negative feedback for me here:
feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&useri…
"sellers beware, noob doesn’t read description fully , wants steals, not deals"

In addition to the problem where he is repackaging branded products and not letting people know, I had also asked, just after the auction if he would combine shipping.

He refused, saying that "ebay was for deals not steals".. in other words, if he combined shipping then he would not make enough from the Ebay sale. However, Ebay prohibits this practice and I told him that. But he still refused to allow me to buy two items and combine the shipping.

After receiving the product, I realized that he was lowballing what would otherwise be a nice product, by repackaging it, and then making up the Ebay fees and getting more profit through the shipping and handling charges (handling for him consisted of an unlined manila envelope.. and .64 of postage.

All of this is prohibited and combined with his abusive behavior, and retaliatory feedback, is a real problem.

So out of five five-gallon buckets, I’ve culled a couple of jars worth of awesome button sets. The problem is, like any sort of inherited craft stash, that I have no control over the number of buttons in a set. So sometimes I just need to geek it out and spend an afternoon arranging them.

The American International Building (70 Pine Street, center), built in 1930-1932 for the Cities Service Company, was the tallest building in the Downtown area until the completion of the World Trade Center. It also was to be the last skyscraper to be built in Financial District in the pre-WW II years. It took until 1960 that another tall skyscraper rose to the area, in the form of the Chase Manhattan Bank. Today building is owned by AIG.

40 Wall Street (right), built in 1928-1930 for the Bank of the Manhattan Co., is best known for its race for the world’s tallest building neck to neck with the Chrysler Building. Designed by H. Craig Servance, along with Yasuo Matsui and Shreve & Lamb, it was built simultaneously with the rivalling building. Both made design revisions as they were being built to add height, first with a raised spire in the Chrysler Building, countered by a heighened pyramid roof in the 40 Wall St. Finally, the 70-storey building was topped out with the raised pyramidal top and lantern, escalating the height to 927 feet, the builders being certain that they’d won. But when the Chrysler Building’s secretly-raised needle-like vertex, raised three weeks earlier, was finally publicized, 40 Wall was left to hold the second place in skyscraper rankings. (Although according to the Real Estate Weekly, the 282.5 m tall building still holds the title of the "tallest mid-block building".) In 1946, 40 Wall Street was hit by a United States Coast Guard airplane in 1946 during fog. The crash killed five people, and the pyramidal tower was damaged. Though zoned for commercial use only, it has been said that Governor Thomas A. Dewey took residence below the observation deck for a time. In 1995, Donald Trump bought the building for million and renamed it the Trump Building. He intended to convert the upper half of it to residential space, leaving the bottom half as commercial space. However, today it remains 100% commercial space.

40 Wall Street was designated a landmark by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission in 1998.
